Critical Innovations was pleased to present two oral presentations and one poster session at the 2025 Military Health System Research Symposium in Orlando, Florida last month. As the Department of Defense’s foremost scientific meeting, the MHSRS provides a venue for sharing new scientific knowledge resulting from military-unique research and development.


Dr. Ross Donaldson, President & CEO of Critical Innovations, delivered the following oral presentations:

  • "SurgNow™ On-Demand Surgical Instruments” under the breakout session: Additive Manufacturing in Support of Theater Medical Care

  • “BurRapid™ Intracranial Pressure Monitor Attachment for Far Forward Traumatic Brain Injury” under the breakout session: State of the Technology: Demonstrations of Acute Diagnostic and Monitoring TBI Devices


The company also presented the following poster presentation:

  • “A Novel Foam-Forming Hydrogel Spray Containing Antibiotics Reduces the Degree of Bacterial Colonization and Improves Wound Healing in Thermal Burns When Compared to Silver Sulfadiazine” under the poster session: Revolutionizing Severe Burn Injury Care Before Role 3 During Large Scale Combat Operations
