Critical Innovations was pleased to present an oral presentation and poster session at the 2024 Military Health System Research Symposium in Orlando, Florida in August. The MHSRS is the Department of Defense’s foremost scientific meeting, providing a venue for presenting new scientific knowledge resulting from military-unique research and development. Critical Innovations values the opportunity to present research on its developing technologies in this collaborative setting focused on the unique medical needs of the Warfighter.
Dr. Ross Donaldson, President & CEO of Critical Innovations, delivered a presentation on Succor™ Combat Foam for Advanced Wound Care of Traumatized Tissue entitled: " A novel, reverse-phase-shifting, thermoreversible foaming hydrogel containing antibiotics for the treatment of traumatic tissue injuries in a swine model – a pilot study” under the breakout session: Innovative Technologies and Devices for Treatment of Battlefield Wounds in Prolonged Care to Prevent Infection. The company also presented a poster presentation on its F.O.A.M.™ technology: “Treatment of Noncompressible Torso Hemorrhage with a Novel Intraabdominal Field Deployed Thermoreversible Foam” under the poster session: Remote Damage Control Resuscitation (RDCR): Innovations to Prolong the "Golden Hour.”
